Life Storage, Inc. is an integrated, self-administered and self-managed real estate investment trust (REIT). Approximately half of the company's revenue is generated by stores in Texas and Florida. The remaining sales are distributed throughout the United States. The majority of the company's operating revenue is generated by rental income from customers renting storage space on a month-to-month basis. The company also provides storage for both individuals and commercial renters, as well as special storage units for vehicles and wine.
